Jonathon's Pool Tips
Rain, rain go away...
South Georgia has seen more rain the past couple weeks than we've seen in a while! Lakes are up, rivers and creeks are out of their banks and the water table is very high. This plays havoc to swimming pool liners. When we've been able to work, we've made numerous service calls dealing with liners. As the water table rises, water pockets develop behind pool liners causing instability and even liner damage. Couple that with the high pool water levels that need to be managed and we would guess that a minimum of 30 percent of the pools in the area are suffering from the excessive rainfall.
JONATHON'S TIP: As a pool owner, the first thing you can do is pay close attention to managing your water level. Drain excessive water to allow your skimmer to continue to work properly for you and keep a close eye out for liner issues.
